Tier 1 mining client Rio Tinto engaged us to remove the interior and exterior wall panels and vinyl flooring from a shut-down office building on the Cape Lambert site in the Pilbara. Despite the remote location of the project, the team strictly adhered to all RTIO procedures and protocols in conjunction with the GBAR procedures.
The logistics of getting our equipment and team to a remote site in the Pilbara at short notice was a particular challenge. We overcame this with careful job planning for equipment needed and by making allowances for the extra time needed to ensure safe driving to region.
